Research experience in areas mainly focusing on finger vein biometrics, security and image processing for more than 6 years with several publications in finger vein biometrics including IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS).
- AWSAR Award 2020 winner in the Best scientific story titled "Finger Vein - A Journey Not in Vain" under the PhD category which was awarded on February 28, 2021.
- Secured second prize in Application security track for the presentation titled "FEBA- an anatomy based finger vein classification" conducted during "ISEA Virtual presentation conclave (IVPC 2020)" , conducted by IIT Guwahati, an initiative under ISEA project (funded by MeitY, Government of India) during Jan 29th - 30th 2021.
- Recipient of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), Back to Lab fellowship (File No. KSCSTE/2592/2018-BLP) for the research project “Finger Vein Based User Authentication” sanctioned for a period of three years (2019-2022) with a total project outlay of Rs. 9,70,800/-.
- Silver Medalist (University Level) in MSc and BSc courses at Amrita University.
- 7 years of research experience in the field of finger vein biometrics.
- Worked as a research associate at Center for Research and Innovation in Cyber Threat Resilience (CRICTR) during 2015-2017.
- Worked as a research associate under the Centre of Excellence in Pattern and Image Analysis project (CEPIA 2017-18), which is funded by Kerala state planning board.
- Women scientist under the fellowship project sanctioned under Back-to-lab fellowship for Women by KSCSTE, GoK during 2019-2022.
- Served as a teaching assistant for MPhil, MSc courses for two years. Handled lab and theory classes of the elective subject “Biometric for Security” for third semester MSc Computer Science and Information Technology students at IIITMK.
- Assisted in guiding MPhil and MSc final year projects.
