Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies was established in the year 2024 with a vision to promote holistic and multidisciplinary learning. Rooted in the philosophy of integrating knowledge from various fields, the department provides students with a comprehensive academic environment where economics interacts meaningfully with mathematics, statistics, social sciences, and technology.
The Centre offers the B.Sc (Hons) Economics Interdisciplinary Programme. It is designed as an interdisciplinary course combining Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics, enabling students to develop strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. It lays a solid foundation for careers in economic analysis, data analytics, data science, financial services, public policy, research and academics.
