Ms. Jasmine Mathew
Assistant Professor

Jasmine Mathew is an educator and researcher in Social Work, currently serving as Assistant Professor at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi. She holds an MSW in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and an MPhil in Social Work from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, and has completed her PhD from Mahatma Gandhi University. She has published extensively in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and has received multiple honours, including the Best Researcher Award and Research Excellence Award for Publications. She serves as a peer reviewer for several leading international journals and has contributed to academic publishing as an Editorial Assistant, promoting research integrity and ethical scholarship. Her research interests span migration, bereavement, well-being, and trauma-informed practice. Deeply committed to mentoring young researchers, she advocates for compassionate and responsible research engagement that enhances the visibility and credibility of social work scholarship.
