Dr.Augustine George
Asst.Professor


Augustine George has a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Amrita University, Coimbatore (Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi Campus). His doctoral research was on Transhumanism in Japanese Manga. He has an M.Phil. in English Language and Literature from Kannur University (Thalassery Campus, Palayad). He completed his Masters in English from Sacred Heart College, Thevara (M.G. University, Kottayam). He began his academic career as a Guest Lecturer in English at The Cochin College, Kochi in 2014. He has taught and engaged with diverse topics throughout his academic career. These range from English Literary History and Literary Theory and Criticism, to Contemporary Literature. Besides Graphic Novels and Comics, his research interests include Weird Fiction and Science Fiction. He has Scopus Indexed, UGC Care Listed, and other journal publications to his credit.
