മത്സര പരീക്ഷകൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ രീതിയിൽ മാതൃഭാഷയെയും അതിന്റെ സാധ്യതകളെയും മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ഉതകുന്നതാണ് ഈ പാഠ്യ പദ്ധതി

സിനിമയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന രേഖയാണ് തിരക്കഥ. പ്രമേയം, കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ, സംഭാഷണങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ അടങ്ങിയ ഈ ബ്ലൂ പ്രിന്റിലൂടെയാണ് സിനിമ രൂപം കൊള്ളുന്നത്. സർഗാത്മസൃഷ്‌ടിയെന്നു തന്നെ തിരക്കഥയെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ തിരക്കഥയ്ക്ക് സാഹിത്യത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനവും സാഹിത്യവായനയുടെ അനുഭൂതിപരതയും ഉണ്ട്. സിനിമ പഠിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കും തിരക്കഥാരചനയിൽ മുൻപോട്ടു പോകാൻ താല്പര്യപ്പെടുന്നവരുമായ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഗുണകരമായ രീതിയിലാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സ് വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഒരു സാഹിത്യരൂപത്തിന്റെ ഘടന മുൻനിർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് തിരക്കഥയെ സമീപിക്കുകയും തിരക്കഥാ രചനയ്ക്കുള്ള പ്രാഥമികമായ പരിശീലനം നൽകുകയുമാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സിന്‍റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യം.
