AI Efficiency 101 was an interactive and practical session designed to equip students with a clear understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications in maximizing productivity and innovation in HRM. In addition to demystifying AI fundamentals and basic prompting skills, the session showcased how AI  revolutionizes various HR functions. Participants explored how AI tools could be harnessed to streamline recruitment processes, enhance employee engagement, optimize performance management, and provide actionable insights for HR strategy. Through discussions, hands-on activities, and HR-specific examples, students gained valuable insights into how AI could transform their academic projects and future careers in human resource management.

The Department of Management Studies at Sacred Heart College, Thevara, hosted a session on Demystifying Patent Filing on Tuesday, January 16, 2025, at 9:45 p.m. Dr. Renju Chandran expertly conducted the session and Dr. Sarath Chandran, esteemed assistant professors from the Department of Management and Commerce at Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham.

The English Station (association of the Department of English) successfully organized an Inter-Year Drama Competition on February 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their theatrical talents, creativity, and storytelling skills.

The Department of Management Studies released their first book called Management Matrix as a collaborative effort of the students of 2nd year with the support and guidance of the faculty. The book release took place in the presence of our Vice Principal Dr. CS Francis, the HOD Dr. Jisna N and Assistant Professors Raghunandan C, Athul T Ravi, Giftin CK and Devipriya Leeladharan. The book was then handed over to the Librarian Mahesh Palamuttath as a student reference material. ‘Management Matrix’ serves as a foundation for the students , covering more than 30 topics from their syllabus. It is a beautifully crafted masterpiece that highlights not just the academic competency but also the entrepreneurial capabilities.

Initiative by the IIC and IEDC of SH. The orientation is conducted in two sessions, a morning session for the main campus and an afternoon session for the East campus.  The session aims to provide an entrepreneurial orientation to students and promote student startups. As student startups have emerged as a major thrust area in NAAC, NIRF and NEP, all available faculty members are also requested to join the session.

The students of East Campus are organizing an open donation, in collaboration with Haritha Kerala Mission. You may donate clothes, toys and books that are in good condition.

In celebration of International Yoga Day, the Fitness Club of East Campus conducted a transformative breathing workshop on 21 June’23. The event aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle among the youth.

This immersive and enlightening session was led by Ms.Maria Angel, a certified yoga trainer from Bodhidharma Martial Arts and Yoga Centre, Kumbalam.
