Dr.Radhika.P.C joined as an Assistant professor in the department of Commerce Thevara in 2015. Completed her MTA (Master of Tourism Administration) in 2007 from Mahathma Gandhi University, UGC NET in Tourism administration (2012), and MBA in Marketing Management(2019) from Indira Gandhi Open University. She has been awarded Ph.D. in Management Science (2016) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam for the thesis titled “Development of a model for Tourism For the state of Kerala”. She has been working as an external examiner and question paper setter at various universities. She has been appointed as one of the members of the internal audit team of Sacred Heart College, Thevara for ISO certification and member of IQAC Subcommittee of Sacred Heart College Thevara.
From 2016 to date she has been working as the assistant coordinator of the Tourism club, Sacred heart college Thevara. She has presented a paper in the Second PAN IIM World Management Conference in Nov 2014 and also attended an FDP at IIM Kozhikode on Structural Equation Modelling(Aug 2013). She has also attended 6 FDP’s, published 17 journal articles and a book titled “Fundamentals of Tourism”. She has also completed a minor project(UGC) titled “The effective implementation of Swatch Bharath Mission at tourism destinations in Kerala”. She has completed five online courses- “Introduction to Human Rights and the Environment” from the United Nations Institute for Research and Training, United Nations Environment Programme and 4 courses from NPTEL, SWAYAM – “Global marketing management”,”Educational leadership”, “Organisational Behaviour”, “Managing change in organizations”.
Her research interest includes topics such as service marketing, Sustainable Tourism Development, Community Support in Tourism development, Marketing Mix, The role of government in tourism, Responsible Tourism, and Tourist satisfaction. She currently serves as Coordinator of the Travel and Tourism Section of the Department of Commerce.
