Workshops are sessions where students practically engage with concepts through activities guided by expert resource persons. At the East Campus, students have the opportunity to experience arts, business skills, theatre, and much more first hand through such workshops. These are curated on the basis of students’ interests and based on subjects that enhance their learning outcomes.
The Fine Arts Club conducted a two-day clay modelling and pottery workshop for beginners’ in association with Terracrafts, Kochi. Students got the opportunity to sculpt pots and make clay models using different techniques. The finished products were displayed in the in-campus art exhibition ‘Metanoia’.
The Theatre Club regularly holds workshops in both Malayalam and English led by veterans from the industry. Under the guidance of Mr Sharan S S and the stage group ‘Theatre 64’, students got an immersive experience in the world of theatre through different activities.
The library personnel conducted multiple workshops for students and teachers on using research software and research methodologies. These workshops are especially aimed towards the final year students in UG and PG who are required to submit research projects.
The English Station organised a workshop making travel journals which was led by Dr Meera Krishnadas. She gave hands-on guidance on documenting experiences while visiting new places
The Dance Club conducted an international dance workshop led by Boho. Industry experts Paris Laxmi and Abhi V S trained students in techniques and dance sequences, giving them a glimpse into professional dancing.
